Flame Still Burns was the first of Peter Cox's three EPs and was released in 2001. It was snapped up rapidly by his fans and those searching for a copy today will need to invest time in visiting specialist CD stores and online merchants to see if you can get lucky. Its well worth any effort though as Flame Still Burns is an excellent set of songs that starts with the thoughtful and beautifully crafted Show and Tell, moves on through the high octane Shame The Devil, the wonderful The Only One and finishes with Flame Still Burns. The song that lends its name to the EP Flame Still Burns became a favourite at Pete's' Solo Shows in 2006; its hugely catchy with intelligent lyrics and makes this EP well worth tracking down.
