By the time of I Want To Hear It From You's release in 1987 CDs were starting to take the place of Vinyl and Go West's new single was therefore released in both formats. I Want to Hear it from You is a brilliant single and was luckily backed up by an equally cool video which was directed by Godley and Creme. The video comes across as though it could have been entitled 'Peter Coxs' worst nightmare' as the quiet frontman is passed over peoples heads and generally shoved and mauled in a crowded 'party' at Ricks place as he hunts for the lady who has betrayed him..... an incredibly catchy track check out all the Westies at the guys live gigs who make stabbing moves to the 'someone will twist the knife in you' line and you will realise how much the guys fans love this song!
Aside from the 7" single I Want To Hear It From You was also available as a 5 track CD which contained
