With a Brit Award for Best British Newcomer of 1985 and a hugely successful National Tour under their belts Peter Cox and Richard Drummie went into 1987 with plenty of reason to feel more confident of their own abailties then ever before. Their first single of this year was another well written track: True Colours was their first Single from what was to be their third Go West Album 'Dancing on the Couch' It unfortunately did not have an accompanying video to help promotion but this does not negate in any way from the quality of the single. Go West were by now established as song writers and performers of distinction and True Colours with its catchy Lyrics and message of independance only enhanced their reputation as two young men who were so much more then Boy Band chart fodder.
