The single that saw Go West burst onto the music scene in 1985 and which gave Pete and Rick a top 5 hit in the UK charts. We Close Our Eyes is a catchy, high octane pop tune that was accompanied by a video which saw Pete dressed in macho vest and jeans working out with a spanner while a youthful Rick parried wooden dummies with his guitar. It introduced two new Pop idols to the British public and after years of writing for other artists Peter Cox and Richard Drummie finally were where they belonged and on stage themselves. A great song that is still rightly played on music TV channels and Radio a great deal to this day and a firm favourite at the guys live shows. This is a 'must own' for any Westie...how could you live without the first piece of the story?!
