It is still possible to grab a ticket for the fantastic 'Summer Session' gig at Christchurch park in Ipswich tonight! GO WEST DELIVER ANOTHER FANTASTIC SUMMER SHOW SET!
Peter Cox and Richard Drummie delivered another wonderful summer show set on Saturday at the 'Summer Session' outdoor show at the Embankment in Peterborough. Thousands of lucky fans enjoyed Go West delivering some of their greatest hits as well as a cover of 'Sex on Fire' which had the whole crowd on their feet! 3D UPDATE AND A NEW GO WEST DVD!
Go West's management have confirmed that a brand new DVD is planned for release later this year! The new DVD will include some brilliant footage that was previously only available on VHS as well as loads of new material from Peter and Richard; in this their anniversary year its effectively a history of Go West on DVD! More news about this great release will follow through 2010 but it is hoped the DVD will be available by Christmas. It has also been confirmed that due to Peter's recent illness the second part of '3D' has been slightly delayed. Peter and Richard are working on the cd now so it is sure to be wonderful when it is released!. Following from that the third part of this wonderful release is now due slightly later this year, following on from the wonderful first 3D CD it is certain that both new releases will be well worth the wait! SUMMER SHOW IN SWANSEA HAS BEEN CALLED OFF
The Summer show that had been planned to take place in Swansea on August 7th has been called off.. Go West were one of the bands who were due to perform at this open air show and it is a great shame for fans in Wales that the show will not now take place. A STATEMENT FROM GO WESTS' MANAGEMENT
The following statement was released today by Peter Cox and Go West's management...
“We regret to announce that Go West will not be performing at Borde Hill Gardens, Haywards Heath on July 3rd. Peter Cox has been unwell for the past few weeks and has been advised by his doctor not to perform tomorrow. Peter is extremely sorry to have to cancel a show, something Go West rarely do, but hopes to be able to take part in all of the future Summer Session shows.”

GO WEST AT THE BROOK ON 3rd OCTOBER 2010!
Go West's management have confirmed that the guys will play a full live show at The Brook in Southampton on 3rd October this year. Peter Cox and Richard Drummie have played the Brook several times in the last few years and every show has been a sell uot, so this gig is certain to be hugely popular too! PETER COX'S LAST EARTHBAND GIG OF THE SUMMER IS TONIGHT!
Peter Cox will be singing live with the Earthband tonight for the last time in several months as the next Earthband show which will see Peter as the lead singer will be in October 2010. Peter Cox and Richard Drummie will be enjoying a very busy summer as they have a series of outdoor shows planned. These gigs will combine with their ongoing work writing new material for Go West and will certainly ensure that Go West fans have some wonderful months to look forward to! So those lucky fans who are going along tonight to the open air show in Gelsenkirchen, Germany will be some of the last to enjoy what have been a series of wonderful Earthband shows since Peter took over the role of Singer in Autumn last year. PETER COX WITH THE EARTHBAND IN GERMANY FOR MORE GREAT GIGS!
Peter Cox has had a very busy week! Following on from his live appearance as half of Go West on 'Britain's Got More Talent' on Wednesday night he was then singing live in Germany on Friday and Saturday as the lead singer of Manfred Mann's Earthband! Peter and the Earthband performed at two open air gigs in Stuttgart and Gunzburg and at both shows the band enjoyed an enthusiastic reception from very appreciative crowds. Peter has more shows with the Earthband in Europe over the next few months and more about these will be added to the website soon. As well as these European shows Peter is of course busy with Richard Drummie as they celebrate their 25th Anniversary year as Go West. A GREAT PERFORMANCE BY GO WEST ON 'BRITAIN'S GOT MORE TALENT'!
Go West were the 'House Band' last night on the ITV show 'Britain's Got More Talent'! Peter Cox, Richard Drummie and their full band were involved through the entire hour long show which aired live from 10.00pm GMT last night. The guys sang excerpts from some of their greatest hits including King of Wishful Thinking, Call Me and We Close Our Eyes as well as their cover of 'Sex on Fire' and an extended excerpt of their fantastic new song 'The Fastest Man Alive' which can be found on their new EP '3D'! Peter and Richard looked and of course sounded fantastic and certainly wowed the crowd with the final shots from the programme showing the stars and guests all singing and dancing as Go West performed! Go West will be on the ITV2 TV show 'Britain's Got More Talent' which will air tonight at 10.00pm to 11.00pm GMT tonight. As the show is aired live there is no pre-transmission information available about how and where we will see Go West, however Peter Cox and Richard Drummie are to appear with their full touring band so here's hoping that the Band get to play some of their fantastic music for the audience to enjoy! GO WEST ON 'BRITAIN'S GOT MORE TALENT' NEXT WEEK!
Go West have confirmed that they will be appearing on the ITV2 tv show 'Britain's Got More Talent' next week on Wednesday 2nd June! Their appearance as the 'House Band' on this hugely popular show will be a great chance for fans of Peter and Richard to see them on national TV, and for those who can't tune in live on the night the ITV player will allow the show to be enjoyed for 30 days following broadcast! FOUR GREAT EARTHBAND SHOWS IN FOUR NIGHTS!
Peter Cox last night completed a hugely successful set of four gigs with the Earthband in four nights as their tour took them to more venues in Germany! All the crowds had a great time and were in fine voice supporting the Band as Peter and the Earthband delivered their usual accomplished performances. There will now be a short break in the Earthband Tour but fans in Europe will be able to catch Peter with them at more dates in the summer. THE GO WEST ANNIVERSARY TOUR ENDS ON A HIGH!
The Go West 25th Anniversary Tour ended on Monday night with a sell out gig at the Stables in Buckinghamshire which provided a fitting end to a fantastic tour that had seen Peter Cox, Richard Drummie and their band play to thousands of fans at venues which included Indig02, The Symphony Hall in Birmingham and the Sage in Gateshead amongst many others! Tonight Peter Cox, Richard Drummie and their full touring band will play the Indig0 at O2 in one of the most anticipated shows of the 25th Anniversary Tour. THE S1 SESSIONS RELEASE DATE NOW 29th MARCH 2010
The brand new and utterly fabulous Peter Cox solo album 'The S1 Sessions' will now be released on Monday 29th March 2010 instead of 22nd March as previously announced. The Box 25 competition will end at 8pm on Sunday 14th March as on Monday Townsend Records will be announcing the release date along with some details about it. So if you want to enter the competition via the Namibia Trek website then here is the final clue to help you get the answer right!

GO WEST ON UK TELEVISION AND RADIO TODAY!
Go West will appear live on BBC Breakfast television this morning to be interviewed live about their forthcoming 25th Anniversary Tour and their ongoing work as writers and performers! It will be a great chance to see Peter Cox and Richard Drummie but it will not be the only chance today to hear what the guys have to say as they will also be conducting a series of interviews with Radio stations around the country. Go West will be interviewed on BBC1 Breakfast TV at approx 8.45am and from that point Radio listeners may get the chance to hear them in the following areas:

It has been confirmed that Go West will as part of their 25th Anniversary year in 2010 Peter Cox and Richard Drummie will release a re-recorded version of their 1985 hit 'Call Me' coupled with brand new song'Skin Deep'. Tickets are on sale now for the Go West PA gig at the Regal in Oxford on Saturday 13th March! The show will see Peter Cox and Richard Drummie performing live on stage as the headline act and the other bands on the bill for the evening are Curiosity Killed The Cat and Brother Beyond as well as support from DJ's. Go West will be singing live to with the support of backing tracks rather then their full touring Band at this show and they are expected to be on stage for about 30minutes: as the hugely successful PA at the Wave FM Christmas Party in Southampton last month proved Peter Cox and Richard Drummie are fantastic at these gigs! Here's my schedule so far for 2010. I will have a new CD - 'The S1 Sessions' - on sale for the Go West 25th Anniversary Tour in April - Richard and I will be together in the studio in January working on new material - Go West will be performing at several festival concerts in the summer - and I will be singing with Manfred Mann's Earthband all over Europe throughout the year. A lot to look forward to! I hope to see you somewhere on the road..

THREE EXCELLENT MANFRED MANN SHOWS IN GERMANY AND AUSTRIA!
Peter Cox and Manfred Mann completed a highly successful set of three shows that saw the Band finish the German part of their European Tour as well as performing a great gig last night in Salzburg, Austria. The shows have been greeted with great enthusiasm by the crowds who have been some of the loudest and most appreciative of the Tour thus far; as the new vocalist in the Band Peter wishes to send his sincere thanks out to all the fans in the shows who have made him feel so at home with their warmth and support. Peter now has a break over Christmas but there are plenty of chances to see him in 2010 as Go West have a 25th Anniversary Tour already planned with tickets on sale and Peter will also be continuing to Tour with Manfred Mann from January to April. Last night at the Guildhall in Southampton Go West thrilled an audience of over 1000 fans with a fantastic PA as they headlined the Wave FM Christmas Party. THREE GREAT MANFRED MANN SHOWS IN THREE NIGHTS!
Last night saw Manfred Mann with Peter Cox as their vocalist perform their third gig in Germany in as many night at Stadhalle in Bitburg. This show like all the others before it in this Tour was exceptionally popular and the crowd gave the entire Band a fantastic reception. Peter has received a warm and very positive reception from Manfred fans as he has undertaken his first tour with Manfred Mann's Earth Band and this has meant a great deal to him as he works to cement his position as the newest in a very distinguished line of vocalists with the Band. THREE GREAT GIGS IN THREE NIGHTS!
Peter Cox and Manfred Mann completed three shows in Germany last night with a gig at Stadthalle in Bad Kreuznach that marked the end of a run that also saw the Band play to sell out crowds in Munich and Alsfeld. The shows were a great success and Peter was very well received by all the Manfred Mann fans at the shows. There is now a short break before the Band returns to Germany in a few days, and in just two weeks time UK fans can see Peter with Richard Drummie as the Guys play a gig in Southampton on Saturday 12 December. THREE GREAT MANFRED GIGS IN GERMANY!
Manfred Mann with Peter Cox as their new vocalist played three gigs in three nights in Germany this week and each show was in front of a sell out and highly appreciatative crowd! The gigs on Wednesday and Thursday both sold out well in advance and the Box Offices at both shows could have sold many more then they could seat. The crowds were very warm and appreciative and Peter, the rest of the guys in the Band and the crowds all had a great time. The gig on Friday night in Bad Rappenau saw over 3000 fans at a sell out show with a fantastic vibe that saw the crowd and the Band have a great evening! Peter Cox sends his thanks and appreciation to all the German fans who have greeted him so warmly at these shows and is looking forward to the next gig in Germany on Thursday and meeting even more fans! TWO GREAT GIGS IN NORWAY!
Peter Cox has started his Tour as the new vocalist with Manfred Mann with two great gigs in Norway last weekend! On Friday the Band played the Dark Festival in Kristiansand and enjoyed a great gig with the Norweigan fans. The next day saw Peter alongside the rest of Manfred playing at the Hard Rock Club in Jevnaker. An intimate and close up gig not unlike the shows at the Robin which British Peter Cox and Go West fans will know well, the Hard Rock Club gig was a great success and was played in front of a noisy and enthusiastic crowd! Peter enjoyed both shows and the success of both certainly augers well for the rest of the Manfred Mann Tour in Winter 2009 and Spring 2010!. On Friday night Peter Cox played his first European gig as the new Vocalist for Manfred Mann as the Band kicked off over 6 months of European shows with an appearance at the 'Dark Festival' at Kick in Kristiansand, Norway. The gig was a great success and both fans and Band had a highly enjoyable evening! PETER COX IS THE NEW VOCALIST FOR MANFRED MANN!
Peter will be the new vocalist for Manfred Mann as the Earth Band tour Europe in 2009 and 2010! Peter has been busy preparing for this over the last few weeks and recently joined Manfred for a 'secret' warm-up show. He will perform with the band in Norway, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and France over the next 6 months. Peter is of course still totally committed to Go West and he and Richard have gigs planned for this winter. Dates and venues for a 25th Anniversary Tour next spring will be announced very soon. On Friday 3rd July 2009 Go West were the headline act on the first night of the Godiva Festival in Coventry. A GREAT PERFORMANCE AT MOARE MUSIC FESTIVAL!
Peter Cox delivered an excellent set as one of the Star Guests at the sell out Saturday of the Moare Music Festival held in Kent on Saturday. Peter went on stage at around 8pm and got the relaxed and laid back crowd on their feet and up at the front cheering. The set included 'Song' and 'A Lover is Forever' from Peter's EP 'Game for Fools' , 'Take Me To The River' and 'What You Won't Do For Love' and his performance with the Band was received with great enthusiasm. The appearance was a great success and all those who attended reported they enjoyed the whole days events and all the other artists also were very well received. All in all a great day was had by all!

PETER COX TO APPEAR AT MOARE MUSIC FESTIVAL!
Peter Cox has confirmed that he will be one of the Special Guests at the 'Moare Music Festival' which will take place over the weekend of September 12 and 13 in the grounds of The Three Mariners in Faversham Kent. The Three Mariners is owned by Hamish Stuart of the group 'Average White Band' who had hits such as 'Lets Go Round Again', 'Queen of my Soul' amd 'When will you be mine' amongst others and this is the second year a music event has been held in the grounds. Tickets for this year are bound to be snapped up quickly as a stellar line up of artists are due to appear. Peter Cox will be one of the main guests on the Saturday and will be performing a set of around 5 songs which will not be Go West tracks but other fantastic personal choices! TWO GREAT GO WEST GIGS AT WINDSOR AND RETROFEST!
Go West have just finished two excellent and very well received in two nights after Peter Cox and Richard Drummie performed live at Windsor on Saturday and then hot footed it to Laudon Castle in Ayrshire to perform at the huge 'Retrofest' event on Sunday!
Saturday saw Go West perform a full live gig with their touring band in from of a large and very enthusiastic crowd at Windsor racecourse as the Guys were the headline act at the 'Celebration of Summer' event. Peter and Richard took to the stage at 8pm and delivered an amazing set that lasted to 9.20 and saw a mix of classic hits such as Call Me, King of Wishful Thinking and Don't Look Down, new classics from the fantastic new Go West album 'futurenow' such as Man on Fire and Stars Dont Shine and covers such as Vertigo. The show was received with enthusiasm and those attending all had a fantastic evening!
Last night after a long journey up from Windsor Go West were one of the Stars of the Sunday programme at 'Retrofest' the weekend festival held this year in Laudon Castle in Ayrshire. Go West took to the stage at 6.40pm and delivered a high octane and energetic set that was very well received by the large Retrofest crowd who gave Peter and Richard an enormous and enthusiastic reception! A great gig was had by both fans and Band! Clumber Park saw thousands of fans enjoy a fantastic show and Go West were certainly one of the highlights of the evening as they got the crowd up and singing with their set! GO WEST DELIVER TWO GREAT GIGS IN THREE DAYS!
On Friday 21 August Go West delivered a great Set at the 'Back to the 80's' gig at Clumber Park in the heart of Sherwood Forest. Pete and Rick really got the crowd up and cheering with a high octane and energetic set that included a fantastic performance of 'Vertigo' which saw thousands of fans bouncing and singing along with the Band! It was a great show and less then 48 hours later Peter Cox and Richard Drummie were back on stage as they totally stormed the stage at the huge 'Rewind Festival' in Henley.
This Festival ran over the whole weekend and as Go West took to the stage on Sunday night well over 16,000 fans were there to enjoy their set. From the moment Go West took to the stage they enjoyed a huge reception from the crowd who certainly gave Peter and Richard one of the outstanding welcomes of the weekend.... it was a fantastic show enjoyed by everyone who was lucky enough to attend. A THANK YOU FROM PETER COX!
On Friday 14th August Peter Cox performed Solo at the 'Back to the 80's' show at Calke Abbey in Derbyshire and on Saturday Pete did it again with another great Solo set at Charterhouse in Surrey! Both Solo sets were awesome and the crowd got to enjoy classic Go West hits as well as Pete's first Solo Single 'Aing Gonna Cry Again' which received a fantastic reception. Everyone in the crowd had a great time as did Peter! Following these two great shows Peter wanted to send a thank you message which went like this..
'I wanted to convey my thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the Faithful fans who were at Calke Abbey and Charterhouse and cheered me on through my Solo Sets. A BRILLIANT PHOTO FROM THE GODIVA FESTIVAL TO ENJOY!
Go West were the headline act at the Godiva Festival in Coventry on 3rd July this year and as the main act their lice set was enjoyed by thousands of fans! Photos of the gig have already been published on this website but today another very different image from the gig is online to enjoy. This photo was taken in the middle of the Go West set by Richard Brook, Drummer for Go West and quite a multi tasker given he captured this snap as well! It provides a really unusual view of the gig; a small sense of what Richard, the other Guys in the Go West Band and of course Peter and Richard see as they perform to an outdoor crowd...its a great image and thanks once again to Brooky for letting it be used on the site. This morning at approx 8.45am GMT Peter Cox will be interviewed live on the BBC Radio Derby Breakfast Show. Peter will be performing at Calke Abbey, Derbyshire on Friday August 14th and this interview will offer fans in the Derbyshire area and elsewhere a great chance to listen to Peter and to look forward to his Solo appearance at Calke Abbey! TATTON PARK SELL OUT COMPLETES THREE GREAT GIGS IN THREE NIGHTS!
Last night Go West completed their third gig in three nights as they delivered their live set to a sell out crowd at the 'Back the the 80's' show in Tatton Park near Knutsford. The weather was kinder for this gig then the Audley End show on Saturday and the lucky fans at Tatton Park stayed dry as they enjoyed the evening. Go West's set was very well received with the crowd making their appreciation clear as they sang along and cheered each song in the Set. Peter Cox and Richard Drummie now have a well earned rest from public gigs before Peter Cox has two solo shows on August 14th at Calke Abbey near Ticknall and Charterhouse School in Surrey on August 15th. ANOTHER GREAT GO WEST SHOW AT AUDLEY END HOUSE!
Go West were one of the highlights last night as pouring rain and mud failed to dampen the atmosphere as well over 10,000 fans enjoyed the 'Back to the 80's' gig at Audley End House near Saffron Walden. Go West delivered a high octane set which saw Peter and Richard getting the crowd singing and clapping along throughout their Set, the rain which affected the entire show didnt stop the fans having a great time and the Guys undoubtedly enjoyed one of the best receptions of any Band that night. Tonight Go West will be making the journey to Tatton Park near Knutsford where a capacity crowd will be able to enjoy an evening with Go West and other acts at the gig. Peter and Richard will undoubtedly deliver another great set so have fun everyone who is lucky enough to have a ticket!

A GREAT GO WEST GIG AT DYRHAM HALL!
Last night Go West kicked off their first of three shows in three nights with a great performance at the 'Back to the 80's' event at Dyrham Hall near Bath. Peter and Richard played to a large and enthusiastic crowd who sang along with gusto as the guys delivered a set that contained some of their best known and most popular hits. RETROFEST FESTIVAL MOVES TO LAUDON CASTLE!
Go West are set to be one of the star acts at the Retrofest music festival which will take place over the weekend of 28/29 and 30 August and the organisers of the Retrofest have announced that the Festival will now take place at Laudon Castle, Galston, Ayrshire rather then at Glasgow Green as originally announced. Laudon Castle is situated 5 miles outside of Kilmarnock and will hopefully still be accessible to fans from across the UK and further afield. Go West kicked off the Summer gigs of 2009 with a great performance at the Esjberg Festival in Denmark on Saturday!
